Entry Information
In order to prepare our members for "the next level' whether it be High School Rodeo or CPRA or PRCA the Colorado Wrangler Junior High Division takes entries via "Central Entry". To enter each rodeo you need to call the Central Entry telephone number on the designated night, between the designated times. When you call to enter (on the correct night, between the correct times) you will need to tell the operator the following:
What rodeo you are entering? i.e., Golden JUNIOR HIGH Rodeo at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on April 5-6
Your name
Your CWJHD number
What events you are entering
You will be given a confirmation number. This number is VERY IMPORTANT! You need to write it down, program it in your cell phone, put it on the reverse of your backnumber... whatever. You just need to have this number in case there is a problem at check in.
Once you arrive at the rodeo you will need to go to check in with the appropriate entry fees, your hospital form and any information you may be missing (like a current report card). YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RODEO UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED IN AND PAID YOUR FEES. Likewise you will not be allowed to rodeo until all your information is turned in (School Eligibility Form, Membership Application, Hospital Release Form, Report Card, Sponsorship Form, etc.)
REGULAR SEASON RODEO ENTRY FEES:
Barrels, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, and per person on Team Roping
and Ribbon Roping $25/event/day
Breakaway, Tie Down, and Chute Dogging $30/event/day
Bull Riding $40/day
There is also a $15/day/contestant office charge.
If you need to turn out of a rodeo for any reason you need to observe the following procedure in order to not have to pay full turn out fees. You will need to call the "Draw Out"number before the designated time for each specific rodeo. The Draw Out telephone number is (719) 853-6085. If you do not turn out by the deadline you are responsible for your full fees and will not be allowed to rodeo again until these fees are paid.
A message from Central Entry: Please DO NOT leave any messages on the 1-719-853-6585 number. This is a private residence number and all inquires, late entries, and/or draw- outs will be erased and not taken. If you need to do a late entry or draw out, you MUST CALL THE LATE ENTRY LINE or Draw Out Line @ 1-719-853-6085 ONLY! All other calls and messages will be discarded.
